We are delighted to be sponsoring the sporting talent of a young North-East go kart driver. Luca, who is from Inverallochy, has received the full backing of the Sureclean brand and proudly sports our company’s trademark orange and black colours on both his kart and his racing suit.
The new season at Grampian Kart Club kicked off in March and saw Luca Bicocchi, age 9, fly round the track at Boyndie Drome to secure the first show trophy of the year.
Luca has so far this year taken the feature trophy for his racing class in the 2nd round of his club championship with wins at North Scotland Kart club (where he holds the lap record in Bambino class) and again at Grampian Kart Club in the 3rd round of their club championship.
This past weekend (May 26th) Luca raced at North Scotland Kart Club in round 2 of the Scottish Super Series where he crossed the line after 11 minutes of racing to take the chequered flag and the winning spot on the podium. He now takes the lead in the overall Super Series championship at the halfway stage, outperforming his older peers in the under 12s category.
The youngster, one of the most exciting drivers in his age group, is consistently placed at the top of the grid with fast lap times and trophy lifting podium appearances.
