Our client faced a critical requirement to prepare heat exchangers for a chemical flushing operation as part of ongoing maintenance. Due to the nature of the materials involved and the need to mitigate risk, the client specified that the heat exchangers must be retro-jetted before commencing chemical flushing. The process required niche industrial cleaning expertise to ensure the necessary level of precision, safety, and efficiency.
Given the operational complexities, including the need for around-the-clock equipment operation and the timely execution of the task, Shell/Stainless sought a trusted contractor with the capability to provide high-pressure jetting equipment and continuous technical support.
How?
Sureclean was selected for its proven track record in providing specialised cleaning solutions and its ability to mobilize both equipment and manpower rapidly. The solution involved deploying a UHP Jetting Unit to Norway, accompanied by two of Sureclean’s experienced Pump Engineers to maintain the equipment and support operations 24 hours a day, with one engineer on each shift.
To facilitate a seamless project start, Sureclean pre-arranged the necessary import/export documentation, ensuring smooth logistics for the equipment’s transport to and from Norway. This approach minimized delays and allowed operations to begin promptly upon arrival.

Sureclean’s team delivered both the UHP Jetting Unit and highly skilled personnel to the site in Norway. The jetting unit was used to retro-jet two heat exchangers, effectively removing debris and contaminants in preparation for the client’s subsequent chemical flush.
