Treatment Technologies for Waste Processing

Sureclean are committed to the development of modular treatment solutions which will enable the processing of waste at site.

Current Waste Processing Technologies

Sureclean Advanced Water Treatment System (SAWTS)

SAWTS is a water polishing unit that uses Ultra Violet light and Titanium Oxide as catalyst to breakdown hazardous substances such as complex organics, poly-aromatics, and pesticides. This cutting-edge technology has a lot of potential in waste treatment services.

The unit comprises of 2 stainless steel treatment tanks which house the catalyst and light fittings. The tanks can be run independently or in series depending on the influent.

Sureclean Inclined Plate Clarifier (SIPC)

  • The SIPC is a 3 way separation unit comprising of:
  • 2 hoppers for collection of solid material
  • 1 main tank containing the inclined plates
  • Oil collection point

Waste water is pumped into the unit and allowed to flow over inclined plates contained within the main tank.  Heavier solid materials slide down into the collection hoppers situated at the bottom of the main tank; the oil is collected from the top of the main tank.

Future Technologies

Sureclean Water Recovery and Filtration Unit (SWRFU)

The SWRFU is currently under construction and will be a multi-functional unit that can deal with almost any type of contaminated water.  The SWRFU can treat:

  • Drain tank wastes
  • Interceptor wastes
  • Flood water
  • UHP/HP coatings removal (gun stripping) residual water
  • UHP coatings removal (vacuum stripping) residual water

The unit comprises 2 main components:

  • Inclined Plate Clarifier - used to remove heavy suspended solid material and oil
  • Glass Media Filter - used to remove light suspended solid material

SWRFU will be completely pneumatically driven so the unit can be operated in any environment (onshore, inshore and offshore).

The entire SWRFU will be contained within a 10ft by 8ft container, with fully independent systems allowing the unit to be used fully with all components running together or running each as a separate entity.

Along with other Sureclean technologies, such as our Advanced Water Treatment System (SAWTS) and other filtration systems the SWRFU will be able to take the dirtiest water and clean it to well within any discharge consent.

Sureclean Oil Skimmer Unit (SOSU)

The SOSU will be a frame mounted unit for removing surface oil from water.  The SOSU will be able to treat:

  • Drain tank
  • Interceptor
  • Flood water (to a min depth of 500mm)

The unit will comprise 4 main components:

  • 6 Float Oil Skimmer - used to lift the oily water.
  • Vertical Gravity Separator  - used to remove the oil from water
  • Oil tank  - used to store the removed oil
  • Air Operated Diaphragm Pump (c/w pulsation dampener)

SOSU will be completely pneumatically driven so the unit can be operated in any environment (onshore, inshore and offshore).  The entire SOSU will be contained within a frame, with forklift pockets and lifting eyes.

Along with other Sureclean technologies, such as our Water Recovery and Filtration system (SWRFU), Advanced Water Treatment System (SAWTS), the SOSU can take the dirtiest water and clean it to well within any discharge consent.

Sureclean Sludge Separation System (SSSS)

The SSSS will be a frame mounted unit for the separation of solid and liquid materials.  The SSSS will comprise:

  • A decanter system for the separation process (centrifugal)
  • An auger for the removal of solid material
  • Integrated Heat Exchanger
  • A liquid tank for the collection / removal of effluent
  • A dosing system for the addition of chemical flocculants / polymers to assist in the separation process

The frame mounted unit will be fitted with forklift pockets and lifting eyes.  The SSSS will be electrically driven to ATEX ratings making the unit available to operate in any environment (onshore, inshore and offshore).
